What is the consensus of opinion on the merits of upgrading to the new operating system?.
I have an Ipaq 5450, and bearing in mind that I will lose all my installed programs, is it worth the upgrade.
Any opinions most welcome

Well I'd say if you use Bluetooth alot and have problems with the Bluetooth stack, where you have to soft reset, then it's certainly worth it. Although I don't think the 5450's suffered from this too much, mainly the 3800/3900's.
Other than that, very little difference. I'd like to see the difference on a 400Mhz PPC2002 device which is upgraded to see if the OS is optimised better. Certainly the 2210's seem pretty fast and responsive. |

I would say yes. On my 3950 the upgrade to the contacts database was much appreciated. |
