how to add new poi's on 720

right i have done a search for this with no luck
i have bought a new tomtom go 720 and i want to add new poi's but where do you put them so they show up on the tomtom as this is not like the 910 i had a few weeks ago any help would be more than greatfull thanks

Are you talking about 'create a new category' under manage poi's?

It's on the unit.

If you're asking about where physically to put the .ov2 file (<---poi), then it goes into your map folder on the unit. If you have the associated .bmp file, it goes there too.
