The is a new Great Brtain map available for download for new owners under the map gurantee.

'map guarantee' is what you get with a new TomTom
It comes with a newest maps guarantee
I got my 520 two weeks ago and the site sead I had the latest maps
Checked this morning and it said new map was available for free download.
Its down loaded but dont know what new yet.

| I downloaded the new map and all was good, but when I turned TomTom on all I could find is Canary Island map. when I checked via explorer 2 maps were there but can not run western Europe. Please help |

I'm running the update as I type, possibly an hour and a half to go.
What annoys me is that i just bought the USA 6.75 map on SD (arrives tomorrow), and now i can download the North America 7.10 map for half the price.
Now downloaded and installed........
Guess what i only have access the the canary islands.
Not happy |

I'll wait until someone posts a response from TT before I take advantage of the free download!

I got through to tomtom within 3 minutes, and they called me back after 10 minutes
I've had to send details via e-mail to tomtom, so that they can look at the data.
But i won't hold my breath regarding a solution
In the mean time i've deleted the western europe folder, and adding the map again via home. Figures crossed.
Nope same problem, so i've restored to the previous setup |

This thread seems to be getting confusing between different models. The 520/720s came with maps v7.10. What version have you now downloaded?
iyad and scainer are you both using GO520/720s?
I've just been given TT Home version 2.1.2.121.

I have no free offer for 710 other than to pay £30.00

Within HOME go to "FILE" then click "USE LATEST MAP GUARANTEE" |
