pleasehelp..new to tomtom

i have just installed tomtom 2 (to Sd card) to work with my rikaline card and things worked like a dream. unfortunately 3 days later my dell axim crashed and i had to do hard reset and when i tried to launch tomtom i got the message that i need an activation code from their website and iam scared to do any thing now until i get answers to the following questions:

1- if i activate tomtom now does that that mean that i cant activate it any more in case i need to do hard reset again for any reason (the software is legal and i bought from amazon.co.uk).

2- as the files became messy in the Sd card iam thinking of removing the whole programme and re installing it.can i still use the :( activation code which is in the box? and will this count as a second installation in a different PDA as it has been reset?

I paid a lot of money to set up the gps systemand i think it is unfare to not to be able to reinstall the software even though it is bought legally.
Can you please answer my questions as soon as possibble as i needto sortout this mess today....thanx

So long as you are re-installing to the same device it retains the same hardware ID activation code and hence there is no issue. Only if you attempt an install to a different PocketPC will it count as a second installation.

You should install the TomTom application to main memory NOT SD card. Install any maps to the SD card. If you do not you can expect problems!
