Tom Tom 1 Updates

Thanks for the previous help on here re warranty on my Tom Tom 1.

Gone on to the Tom Tom Home page, it says I can have a free UK Map upload.

When I do that & try to download, it says I haven't got enough space.

Any ideas what to do, I don't want to lose the stuff I have on here?

Alan, Have a read of the FAQ page #1 should be a good start point see Here With a full back up of the device on your PC you can remove things from the device without too much worry as you can allways put them back later.
If its a free map update then it will be rather large, if you want to keep the old map and the new one I would suggest you get a larger SD card for the device as they cost very little these days, 1 or 2GB should fit everything you want, the big plus point to a second card is that you can allways revert back to the original un-modified card later should you need to - Mike
