|
|
I need help. I've just recently bought a Tom Tom Go 720 and I am unable to use operate my GO; it prompts oneself to download a file in order to use operate my GO and then states this file is not currently available.
Does Someone have a solution? Does anyone have the file an can one put it on the Tom Tom without going through TomTom Home. I've spoken to the Headquarters in Netherlands and apparently they're ment to be fixing it. But its been like 3 weeks and still nothing. Its quite ridiculous.
Is anyone elso having this problem?
Help Please![/url] |

Are you using the latest version of TomTom Home? If not, download it from the TomTom Website. I didn't use the CD version which came in the box. |

Hey Craceus I have the same problem as you. I am running XP SP2. I loaded the version of TomTom Home from the CD and it asked me if I wanted to upgrade to V2.0. Afterwards, if I take the "Operate my Go" option, I keep getting the "file not available" error. TomTom said to uninstall, download V2 from the website and then reinstall. I did all of that and still get the same error.
Anyone know of a fix? |

TomTom have just advised that this problem has now been solved.
No changes required at your end, just click and Go!
I tried it last night and it does work.
Cheers. |

This started to happen to me immediately after the major 7.2 download thingy. No operate my device etc and then the whole TT home refused to load and keeps having to close because its "experiencing problems"!. I've tried reinstalling many times from both cd and website but no luck. So now I've got a 720 that I can't connect to my pc |
