Destinator 1 with IPaq 3850 and TomTom 2

Hi!

I've bought recently the Destinator 1 package (GPS mouse cable and software version 1.5.1) and it works fine with my Ipaq 3850.
Since the software is kind of obsolete, I'm thinking about installing the software TomTom 2.

The question I've got now is: does the GPS mouse of Destinator 1 work fine with the software of TomTom2? In my opinion it sholdn't be a problem, but I would be glad to read your comment or experience!
