I'm on Vodafone and they now charge £1 a day for 15MB a day, would the Traffic service use this much data for say a 4 hour journey or do I not really have to worry much about how much it uses??
Thanks. |

I used to average 100KB per Hour when I have tried using traffic over GPRS, when the roads are busy and there are more hold ups data usage might increase a little etc.
The 100KB per hour was averaged over a few weeks when I kept careful notes on GPRS usage, these days I am using an all inclusive tariff so I don't bother with data usage at all - its a flat rate fee of £7,50 per month for me - much more cost effective the way I use the mobile devices - Mike |

Cheers so it doesn't really use that much data really. I guess it couldn't otherwise it wouldn't be worth it with the £30 a year on top. |
