as above, I have TT2 Nav for my CF GPS card, and my Brother has TT city maps, what is the difference?
I though TT Nav had street level planning, so if so what is city maps? do I need both? or is the city maps cheaper?
pls help I'm a bit confused

Hi Loc-man,
Like you, I have TTNav2. I don’t have TT City maps.
You don’t need the City Maps, if you have TTNav2 for the area/country that you’re interested in. TTNav2 has street level planning for all Cities, towns, villages as well as all of the roads. TT City maps just have the street level planning of particular built up areas.
I would have though that TT City maps would be cheaper as they have less data and fewer features than the full-blown TTNav2.

CityMaps is almost obsolete - unless you're only wanting pedestrian navigation.
The maps don't extend beyond towns and cities. There is a Navigator mode of sorts, but I believe no voice navigation. About the only advantage is that the package that covers all of Europe is much cheaper than Navigator 2, also you can load map files of individual towns and cities which are often quite small.
