|
|
Hi all, I am new so please bear with me if this has been answered before. I have searched the forums but am going round in circles.
When I go to the POI download page I get system choice - 1, the country choice -2, but under item 3 - Select POI categories it just stays at loading so I have no categories to choose from.
Am using XP2 , IE7 and am accepting cookies etc.
Any suggestions please |

It's a known problem, without a reliable answer. You could try various combinations of Refreshing the page (CTRL & refresh supposedly forces this to happen), deleting your temporary files, logging out of the site, etc and eventually you will get a combination to work. However, it won't work next time you need to use the page!
I eventually installed Firefox purely for downloading POIs. It seems to cope with this particular download page better, but it still doesn't work 100% of the time. |

Thanks Daggers - will keep plugging away at it until I get one method to work. |

If its a well known problem, could they put a warning on the page?
Today I was trying to download POIs using ie7, and whilst I get the list of categories, clicking the + sign only opens a new blank tab!
In Firefox, I only get:-
3. Select POIs (date of last update : number of POIs)
Loading POI categories...
Eventually I succeeded using Opera. But Opera will not download the speed cams. Only ie7 would do that. |
