My wife has a i3. When she turns it on it now says Map Update Notice.
Is there any way apart from buying new maps to stop that warning coming up every time it is switched on. |

Hold left button and wheel then power on and answer the question. |

That only asks if you would like to erase all user data. I don't wish to remove all my own data, just remove the Map Update Notice if possible. |

Back up your data with easygps(.com) then reset the i3, that message about maps will disappear. |

I finally got this notice for the first time last week - it's been mentioned here for a while now. It gave me the option to be reminded later and i haven't seen it since. Is this option not avalible to you? |

Tried both the Remind Me Later and the Tell Me More. Both make no difference, same message next time the unit is turned on.
I will try the easygps(.com) way and see what happens.
Thanks |
