Newbie with a Nuvi, could use some direction

Hey all,

I am new to this and received a Nuvi 660 for my birthday. It is awesome and very easy to use for driving navigation etc. What I would like to know is what else can I do with this thing. I would think that if I wanted to use it on a golf course for yardages I should be able to and not have to buy another unit designed for that purpose. Also I am thinking I should be able to use it for fishing holes given the coordinates. The problem is I do not know how to go about this and would appreciate any guidance or links to sites that can help me out. I have downloaded the Garmin POI loader for Mac and the web updater. I have also downloaded the trial version of RouteBuddy but really don't know what the heck to do with it.
