I live in the South Wales area and I'm a part time driver, I drive between one and two thousand miles a week all over the country.
I would like to know what has happened to all the mobile cameras, I have not seen any on the regular sites for months, there was one near Carmarthen last week, this was the first one I've seen.
Is there an issue with these cameras, have the agency found a problem with them, or has someone found a loop-hole in the law? |

Perhaps, thanks to sites like this one, everyone is driving sensibly with the fear that a camera is round the corner. Therefore the Safety Camera Partnership's work is done !!

I think we all understand that there are more mobile sites than there are cameras, so you'll be "lucky" to see a mobile camera operating. There's also a possibility that with changing situations, mobile sites are allowed to fall into disuse. We are always looking to refine the database, which is why there's a standing request for members to report in whenever they see an actual camera in operation. I've seen a couple of mobiles in South Wales in recent months (on the M4). Could you by any chance identify the mobile site you saw in use and send in a notification that you saw it operating on such and such date please?
