I've just updated my XDA Orbit to Windows mobile 6.
Tomtom needs reinstalling. Unfortunately, TomTom HOME 1.5 cannot see my device. I remember having this problem initially, and all I had to do was download the .cab application software and install it via active sync. After that, HOME mysteriously noticed it and I could transfer the maps accross as normal. My maps were purchased online.
Problem is, I can't remember where I got the application file from (pretty sure it was from a link in TomTom support's own support somewhere, but I just can't find it).
I don't have a card reader (well, I do but it's via a network connected printer which isn't recognised as such by TomTom HOME) so can't do it that way either.

Glad to hear you got it sorted, the other method I prefer to use is as follows:
1/ Locate your download folder, in TomTom Home select Preferences/ Folder Preferences and note where the Downloads part actually points to.
2/ Using Windows Explorer go to the folder located at step one and find the file ttn.ppc.6030.8320.cab double click this folder and Windows Explorer will open the CAB file, the actual individual file you want will now be displayed ttn.cab (its around 5,6MB in size) - right click this file and select COPY
3/ use Active Sync to connect to your device and paste the file into a known location, Memory card is a good bet.
4/ Use File Explorer on the PDA to locate the ttn.cab file and tap it to install the application.
If you make sure the ttn.cab file is set to read only it will remain on the memory card for future use should you ever need to hard reset the PDA/ Orbit - Mike
