hi i have just purchased a new navman mounting kit for the F20. i find it quite hard to get off of the screen. any ideas? |

yes just a normal suction mount, but its the replacement for the F20's original and it seems to come with a larger suction cup. but i find it really difficult to get off, feel i'll end up breaking it if it keep trying to force it off. please help |

Doesn't rubber part have a short lip sticking out from under the plastic cap? You just claw under that lip with your finger to allow air under the rubber and it comes off easy. |

no unfortunately not, the original one did but like i say i bought another one from NAVMAN and this seems to have a much bigger suction cup and no 'lip' takes forever to get off.
any ideas? |

I use a thin ID Card which is laminated. Any credit card will also work. |
