hi, just been given a novogo v30 and amongst other things i'd like to do with it is to add the speed camera POIs
Seems the Novogo isnt listed in either the works or not works lists on here.. can anyone let me know if it will work, and / or how simply.. ie more software needed etc?

Hello and welcome.
I think the first problem is not many people have heard of this particular unit.
A quick look at the website CLICK HERE doesn't show any mention of it being able to use Custom Points of Interest (POI).
I also found this in the FAQ section of the website -

Now it looks to me like it's not possible but someone else might know more about the system running on this unit and correct me. |

hi mate.. cheers for reply
when i first got the v30 the novogo site suggested the use of poihandler i think for adding POIs. this was admittedly quite some time ago and there seems to be no reference now
also the "Extra POI download is not available." is rather depressing!
ho hum.. guess thats what you get when given things for free.. they dont always do what you want them to do
