Can I force my new TT720 to update to 7.010. TTHome doesn't even suggest it. Has it been pulled?
Cheers, Rob |

Are you sure you don't already have it?
It's normally offered as a download if you connect to Home and don't already have it on your 720.
TT Home 1.6 is best for being offered downloads. |

Also I've noticed that v1.6 of Home doesn't show version 7.010 on the "virtual TomTom" on-screen display it still shows 7.000.
You have to disconnect and look at the real screen, on the screen you get if you tap the signal strength bars. |

Thanks, yes. I do have 7.010. I was looking at the Home view of it which shows it incorrectly - even on 2.0.0.370. |

Sorted!
(Home strikes again.. )
Incidentally, has anyone else noticed that the menu screens don't match on the Home v1.6 virtual machine?
On the actual 720 you get 'Music and Media' on main menu page 2 and 'Itinerary Planning' on page 3, but in the Home version 'Music and Media' is missing completely and its place taken by 'Itinerary' and on page 3 the old 'Show Version' is still there.
Also, you can't access the virtual machine at all if there is an SD card (even one with just mp3s) in the slot. |
