I've recently bought an iCN750, complete with SmartST etc.

Is it the norm that the SmartST screen shows only country outlines with no map detail on my PC screen? If not, how the heck do I get the stuff to download to the PC from CD?

Also, is there a way of plotting a route on the PC and dowloading to the 750?

I'm a numpty with this thing! Sad

Many thanks for any help or advice.

Yes, the Desktop application doesn't show any map detail. It is merely to decide which map(s) you want to put onto the device. The only other map function it provides is to search for a city to see which map section it is in.

No, not using the Desktop application anyway.

Many thanks Tim. Bit of a poo, but I guess I'll live with it.

And now - another question!

How do access the trip details and stats on the machine?

PS. MY other Triumph is a BMW K100RT :D
