hi am off to france is a few weeks and am thinking it would be wise to update my maps which are 2 years old now and take advantage of the 20% off offer. buying gb and france separately is about a tenner dearer that the complete maps of western europe.. both promise street level mapping 99% ...is there a catch? can I sell the old france map after upgrading? best regards and thanks tim |

Western Europe being a tenner cheaper than two separate maps seems a no brainer. It'll have street level too. BUT Western and Central Europe is even better coverage.
Either way you'll need a bigger SD card - at least 1GB for Western Europe map, 2GB for Western and Central Europe. There are discussions elsewhere on the merits and otherwise between Western Europe map and Western and Central Europe map - see maps v675, which were released 17th April this year and immediate threads started. _________________ Dennis

I think that the only reason that TT don't recommend the W&CE map for the 300 is that the map has more data included than the 300 can use.
But it still works fine as a "map" on the 300. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)
