Hi All,
I have an Ipaq2210 with Tomtom2 and a Fortuna Clip-on. I have paired the GPS but I cannot seem to access it from tomtom as it is not in the list.
Any help would be gratefully received as I am tearing my hair out here.
Cheers, Boggie |

Just use the standard NMEA 38400 on port COM8 (or was it COM5 for the 2210?) _________________ Lutz

On the 2210 it's com 8 UNTIL you install Tomtom2 - after that it uses 5 (however taking the advice of everyone here and removing the tomtom~gps driver means you can can use com 8 again <g>).

Cheers!
In the GPS dropdown (Tomtom, file, GPS Status, GPS) I forced the device to be 'NMEA 0183v2 38400' and in the dropdown below that 'Bletooth Serial Port COM8'. All now works perfectly. Very impressed with the Fortuna GPS, gets a lock in a couple of seconds every time. |
