I heard that it's possible to record my own voice and have my Tom Tom use it for direction announcements. Is it possible? Anyone know how to do it? |

That link goes to doing your own camera warnings. If you are after doing your own navigation instructions, I've seen it somewhere, but it's a fairly daunting business - a great number of separate word phrases and file names to record. I read where one guy got his son to record such as "Turn Left, Daddy" and so forth. I think I also read the new 520/720 has an option to record your own and gives a list of all the separate commands to be recorded. _________________ Dennis

Now THIS is why I sit back and enviously "wonder" when Andy posts. I know he has lists, but I have to wonder how big the list is and how he finds the stuff on it. I have to wonder how I could steal it from him too.
PS This is not to detract from all the others who also have lists, by the way. I suppose it's just a self-condemnation for not having lists myself! _________________ Dennis
