Help please
I am having problems installing POI Capture to my TT Go 510
When I copy this to my TT the capture icon appears on page 4/4, I am led to beleive it should be on page 1. I have also captured a few speed camera's on dummy runs, but when I go to delete these I get a message " removed saved " but the camera's are still showing. I have deleted POI Capture and reinstalled but the problems still exist. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Alan |

You can re-arrange the menu items to whatever order you like. See Mike Alder's answer in THIS POST from yesterday where he provides a link to how he has done his custom menu (The link takes you HERE

I think you've misunderstood what POI capture does. It is a tool to help reporting changes and additions to the database back to PGPSW, which it does by creating a new POI file. It doesn't change anything in the version of the database on your machine.
The idea is that you send the new file that POI capture creates back to PGPSW who then verify the changes and put them in a later version.
If you want to see those changes on your OWN version immediately, you will have to edit the main database files yourself. |

If not, you can remove the dummies from the PocketGPSCameras.OV2, or delete it completely. _________________ Jock

Apologies, I think *I* misunderstood what you were doing.
I completely mis-read it that you were reporting cameras that should be removed and were expecting them to disappear from the main database on your machine. |

If not, you can remove the dummies from the PocketGPSCameras.OV2, or delete it completely. | The Clear Cameras Option is in Preferences. Then use Exit Program.
You will then need to run POICapture again to load it into memory. _________________ Richard
