Hi, I have just subscribed to the updates, but find the procedure unbelievably complicated, surely in this day and age it is possible to log into the appropriate Update page and have the updates downloaded to the device automatically? Every other application seems to work like that.
Incidentally, I have yet to manage to get anything installed! |

The reason it doesn't work like that is because each unit / brand has a different method. Someone would have to write a web-page to interact with every different model out there and some manufacturers keep the exact format of the files a secret. Just because you download a nice plain text CSV file doesn't mean that's how it ends up on the unit.
The instructions are posted on the download page for each supported model. If you can't understand then ask for help - that's what we're here for. |
