Hi hope you could give me your opinions / recomendations
I purchased a Tom Tom GO when they were first released yonks ago and then the france map then a chap up[dated the software for me so i could do a postcode search in the UK
This unit has served me very well but now I travel a lot in France and lots of roads are not in there also NO France postcode search so Reluctantly i will have to squeeze the old pension fund and shell out on a better model
But buy What ???? I dont need any of the Extra functions MP3 and the like just need the BEST FRANCE mapping hopefully with French postcode search PLEEEEZ Guys help me ? I am pulling out what little hair i have left :D
PS I dont mind buying S/hand provided Original reciept can be seen and checked |

The Original (Classic) GO can do all of that.
All you need is V6 Software and the Western Europe V6 Map.
You will also need a 1GB SD Card.
The France Postcode is not accessed like the UK Postcode. You use Address | Street and House Number to input the France Postcode first. _________________ Richard

The cheapest place, safely, is from TTs Web Site as a £60 download.
The SD Card and DVD versions from Retailers start a lot higher.
Just be careful where you get it from. ;) _________________ Richard

A postcode search will not do you much good in France, as the French postcodes each cover a very large area. _________________ Kam |
