Last night on my drive home my ONE displayed a red triangle with what looked like a windsock inside!

No idea what is was - rebooted and it was still on the screen - had 6.75 WE map and traffic enabled at the time...

been a tomtom user for 5 years - not seen this before..... any idea's?

It's probably the weather report - part of TomTom Traffic Smile

Although that used to be a windsock in a square. The best description of all the icons (there are ones for snow/ice, fog, rain etc. too) is in the original Go x00 series manual.

You can read it on-line HERE

Click on "TomTom Plus" in the index on the left and scroll down 3 or 4 screens to see a description of all of the icons.

Daft, that they don't have such a good manual for the new models!

funny that it wasn't on the traffic bar and it wasn't windy either!

maybe useful at some point - espcecially when towing etc.

I have activated the service area poi on my One V2, and can't make head or tail of what the icon is supposed to represent. Anyone got any ideas?

Is this the built-in ones?
I havn't got a "service areas" but have got a "rest areas", which seems to be Motorway service areas.

The icon for that is supposed to be a stick-man lying down, leaning against a tree (looks more like a tadpole (or worse!) to me Smile )

Thats the one, I thought it was a high heeled shoe, with a high level cistern attached.
