I've got a strange problem with the above combo and wondered if anybody else had seen it and knew what the solution was.
Basically, when I connect to the GPS (which is in the Trusted Devices list) from MapSonic I get prompted for the bluetooth passcode 3 times. Only after the third time do I get connected, and it all works perfectly. Connecting from the PC works first time, every time.
Has anybody seen this before and know how to fix it? Failing that does anybody know exactly who's at fault here.
I have a very similar problem. I'm using Palm T, Fortuna BT Clip-On and Mapsonic. Having set the clip-on as a trusted device, it takes three goes (at least) of entering the pass key (0000) before the connection is made. Sometimes it never makes it, and the only solution I've found has been to hard reset the Palm, and start again.
I'm guessing it's a Palm issue rather than a Fortuna issue, because most of the Fortuna Clip-on BT connectivity issues seem to be from people with Palms.
