Hi

First post and it's to rave about Garmin!

My Streetpilot that I bought from e-bay had seen better days (it was very cheap), it was not routing properly, picking up satellites properly etc.

I had scoured these forum for ways of using my MetroGuide maps and making new routable maps (great info on here by the way and easy to follow even for new to GPS people like me) but thought I would talk to Garmin first.

They asked me to send it back to them for them to look at. I fully expected them to recieve the unit see it was pretty battered and also see it was bought from e-bay and tell me to s*d off.

They replaced it with a new unit with latest maps installed free of charge and within 3 working days!

I cannot give enough praise to the guys at Garmin...First class!
