Speed camera icons

At the risk of sounding stupid, could somebody please tell me if there's a key/legend (or whatever you choose to call it) showing what the different icons on the database/Google map relate to.

I presume that the icons looking like speed limit signs are for fixed (Gatso etc) cameras.

However, there are icons with black backgrounds and others with white backgrounds which otherwise look the same - are some for mobile cameras and others for handheld cameras?

If it was clearer what these icons relate to, it might be easier to report changes to cameras and it would also be easier for members to know which sort of camera(s) they need to look out for in a particular area.

if you click on the icon it will tell you at the bottom of the google map what it is

...but part of my question was what is the difference between those cameras with white icons and those with black icons?

Clicking on the camera icon as you said shows both as mobile.

Do handheld and vehicular cameras show as the same?

Are the different icons because it is more difficult to verify mobile cameras than Gatso etc, if so which icon is for unverified?
