...should I get to use and keep original as backup.
Think current one is 1gb - wondered if 2gb ok? Any special type?
Do I then just "backup" using Home and "Reload" onto new card?
Thanks for any help. |

2GB is fine (probably cannot go higher though). Mine is a Transcend 150x , bought through Amazon (card is cheap, about £10, Amazon P&P is outrageous!!)
Many of us consider the best way to backup is using Windows Explorer, set to show ALL files and Extensions. You can still also do one with Home, but it seems simpler and more transparent to use Explorer. Make a new Directory on your HD - TT Backup 2007-05-02 and copy everything to it, then copy from HD to new card and Bob's yer uncle _________________ Dennis

Thanks Dennis - ordered for "express" delivery - DOUBLES the cost - but we really want it and Amazon seem cheapest around - EXCEPT for delivery! |

Looks like you were both smarter than I - asking around first. I bought my first 2Gb card from the shop where I bought my GO710 - almost 40 smackeroons!! Did I feel stupid when I saw the prices they told me about on this website. I too bought the second off the web much cheaper, but both your examples and mine show how somebody is making a bomb out of supposed P&P. _________________ Dennis
