TT 910 green light charge problem

I have a tomtom 910 which is just over a year brought from Maplin. I’ve had few problems with it to date but now I have the not charging problem. I have two V2 car mounts which display the green charge light , but the charge indicator does not indicate charging. The green light really annoys me as it does not mean the unit is actually charging. The unit charges fine on my desk top mount. I’m running TT V6.525. The one mount is quite new. Do I need a new car mount or is there something wrong with the tomtom terminal block or locking mechanism? Any advice appreciated.

Send it back to TomTom under warranty as I think you will find that it is guaranteed by TomTom for 2 years you know :D

For speed of service is it best to return the unit through the retailer, ie Maplin or go direct to Tomtom?

Deal direct with TomTom as Maplins cannot fix the unit for you, give them a ring and arrange for the device to be collected for repair
