|
|
Hi,
Got my new Tomtom One Europe today as my old system is dead.
It is one of the newer Tomtom One's that doesn't come with an SD card instead its got 1GB on board.
Sounds good but, if I add a fast 2GB SD card to it can I store additional POI's on there or do they all have to be stored on the internal memory on the unit itself?
Any help much appreciated. |

It's daft...
You can EITHER use the internal memory OR the SD card slot, but not both. |

Thanks Andy
If I add a fast 2Gb card and copy everything to it, will it auto default to that, or do I need to change some settings somewhere. can't see anything on the device or in the home software |

Boot order seems to be:
Look for SD card boot record,
If no SD card, look for boot record on internal memory.
If SD card is installed and no boot record, display error page.
So if a card is present, it will boot from that.
