|

Hi,
I'm about to order my wife a TomTom ONE from the internet. She says she can't see why she should pay an extra £94 for the XL so is quite happy with the previous version.
My question is, how do I tell the difference between the ONE v1 and the latest ONE v2. The adverts I've seen only mention ONE so I don't wanna end up with someone shifting old stock.
many thanks
B. |

From the TomTom Website
"Original Edition" (aka "v1"):-
"New Edition" (aka "v2" and also "v3"- this is what TT Home calls it)

Thanks Andy, I did look on the TomTom site but missed the old one.
There looks to be quite a difference in the depth of it.
Thanks for getting back to me. |

When you go to "Car Navigation" from the TT home page, in the list on the left there is an entry for "original products" ![Smile](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Thanks very much. Yep, found it now.
Regarding the fact that not many people now have the v1, until I could see the difference I wouldn't have known a v1 from a v2 (apart from the fact the v2 leaves a bigger hole in the ground!!). Now I've seen the difference they all appear to be selling the v1.
I just didn't want a 5 year old map as opposed to a 2 year old one.
Thanks for coming back to me ![Wink](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |
