I've been running TTN 5 on my Ipaq with no problems, but decided I wanted to update to 6. So, checked compatibility, paid for the new maps, installed TT Home and installed new maps and TTN on a new SD card. All seemed great.
However - how on earth do I activate the new map? I have all the codes, but when I run TT on the Ipaq I just get "No maps found" and it shuts down.
And now the best bit.... I disconnected my Ipaq, then reconnected it. TT Home now claims it's a different device and not associated with my account! WTF!!
So now nothing works. Arghhh!
Any help GREATLY appreciated. |

If you haven't already try downloading the latest version of tomtom home from the tomtom website. |

I have most recent version of Home.
The question is - how do I persuade Home that my Device is the right one? Where does it look to identify the Device? |

Try removing the SD card, then reset the PDA, wait till the Ipaq has finished rebooting then reinsert the SD card, TT6 should then restart automatically and will then probably find the map. My mums PDA sometimes does the same thing i.e. no maps found for no apparent reason even after working fine for a few weeks. The above trick seems to fix it. |
