cheapest silent GPS needed for car navigation

Hi all,

I won't be able to make out voice prompts from a GPS system, so I'll need to just glance at it from time to time while driving. What I need to know is, whats the cheapest possible option?

Sorry mate, but that's not really a cool idea. Road safety reasons more or less require a navigation program to have voice support to be taken serious. Of course you can always switch off the speaker but that's just not the point.

The voice support carries no extra cost, by the way. It's included in the price.

If you are looking for low budget items, get a GPS receiver from eBay (and don't complain about the poor performance afterwards) and then buy a Mapopolis subscription.
