Hello,
I know this is a real easy question, but I've searched a lot of places and couldn't find the answer.
What is a sleeve?
Thank you. |

Hi myrrh,
A sleeve is an attachment for a PDA which allows you to use things like network or modem cards, PC or CF cards, digital cameras or a GPS/GPRS phone with your PDA. It can also give you extra battery life.
Here is a link that might help explain more and also gives pictures of what they look like: http://www.pdabuyersguide.com/tips/ipaq_sleeves.htm
Hope this helps.

The important thing to stress (which is mentioned at the top of the web page Laura gave) is that sleeves - or as HP tend to call them these days, expansion packs - only fit 3000 and 5000 series iPAQs.
