Is this possible via POI Loader? I have read on the "wish list" that the beta version offers this, but I can't see it.
Anyone had any luck? |

Definitely works on the nuvi. You can put .wav files in the same folder as your POIs and, as long as each one has exactly the same name as the POI its related to, run POI loader to load them.
E.g.
gatso.csv gatso.bmp gatso.wav |

Odd.
I have done exactly that and all I get is a "ding ding" noise (and a "30mph ahead" on the top of the screen). |

Also is it my version or is POI Loader completely user unfriendly?
Horrible piece of software to use. |

For all types of camera or just one? Have you unchecked the alerts for Garmin safety cameras? |

Firstly thanks for taking the time to reply.
Well I have only used it on a simulated route for the Gatso's.
Yes I have unchecked the Garmin ones.

On a related note, where do the .wav files sit? I have checked my files and there are no .wav files, just one poi.gpi file. |

Ok problem now sorted.
I converted the .wav files to .mp3 and POIloader incorporates them into its poi.gpi file.
Terrible documentation on this software from Garmin though.
Also it refuses to allow me to manaully set the warning distance. |

Is it worth trying Ash's camera manager to set distances before POIloader takes info in _________________ Asus Zenfone 2 twin sim, Garmin Zumo 550, 660 and pocketgps speed camera database
I keep on learning but they invent new things faster ,How do I keep up ? |
