How much space do you have on the SD card? Try deleting some of the foreign voices if space is a little tight.

ha ha i think i knew what i did wrong i copied across a back up of my original card aswell. so deleted that and they all went on fine, however i have another problem, probably right in front of me but i cant see it,,,

where the instructions say-# You now need to set up proximity warnings for each camera type by going to: ' Change Preferences' then 'Manage (or Maintain) POI' then 'Warn when near POI '
# Select each POI in turn and choose the warning distance and the warning sound
# Uncheck the "Warn only if POI is on route" box so that you still get alerts if you are not navigating
# Repeat steps 20-22 until all POIs are set up to warn.

i cant seem to find how to edit the warning distance on any poi, ive click the icon change preferences and then enable/disable pois and the cameras are all showing ticked but i cant find out where i'm suppose to select the warn when approaching....

thanks

Thats because didn't follow the instructions properly.

1. Click "change prefs"
2. Then "Manage POI's"
3. Then "Warn when near POI"

You should be on the right track then.

Stolt

Be careful with the number of POIs you install - you are allowed a maximum of 100.

oh ok, thanks or letting me know, is that each poi or each sub folder, for example, with banks will that count as one, or will it count as 7 because there are seven different banks on there.

It about 100 POI categories, the poi category itself can contain 1000's of entries.

Its 100 user-added POI categories. These will be what appear in TomTom's "Delete POI category" menu.
It doesn't matter how many entries are in a category, or if you've merged several together before you load them onto the TT.
I would say "100 .ov2 files, but TomTom's own speed cameras still look like ordinary ov2 files, but they don't count to the total apparently.

no problems, i've tried a search and had no luck but is there somewhere you can download alternative voices for the tomtom one, or perhaps the celebrity voices i've heard about, probably would get tired of them in a few mins, but would be fun to show off.
