Hi,
Does anyone else have the problem where the phone works in the main (e.g. answer calls, make calls by keying number, voice commands working) but when you press the "Phone Book" button it only displays the first 6 entries on the phones phone book. The voice dial works with numbers not in the phone book (on the nuvi - i.e. one of the 6).
Bit odd
Thanks.

Does your BB have an option to allow remote sim access, sometimes this option is removed by operator customization,if the option is there it will be in phone book settings it may need to to switched off - I have'nt owned a Pearl so it may be somewhere else. |

Hi,
Yes it does have that and I used that to initially xfer all me numbers to the phone. It is now the phones internal book that is active (as it has more functionality - voice dialling) and I also ned to use the phones book for integration into Exchange.
The voice dialling works for all the numbers in the phones memory via the Nuvi and the 6 it does display on the Nuvi are from the phones internal book rather than the SIM
Cheers,

Just upgraded the firmware on the BB and it seems to be working now. Not sure if it was the firmware or the complete phone reset that did the trick. |
