Received an e mail saying update available but still unable to download information. When I click on save, a box comes up saying "site unavailable"?
This is the second Update I have not been able to use. |

This is probably due to a set up on your pc.
Some people have found that using a different browser, eg Firefox, worked.
For others the following has solved their problem:
Quote: | In IE click "Tools - Internet Options", and select the Advanced tab, scroll down to the 'Security' section and ensure that "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" is not checked. |
Good luck! _________________ Anita

Do you mean a message comes up when you turn on the i3 saying your maps are out of date?
I have an old unit and didn't suffer from this message, but I believe a hard reset stops the message from appearing. You may know how to do this already, but just in case:
Make sure you back up the unit to your pc if you haven't already done so, and use EasyGPS to save your favourites to your pc (it's free and Google will find the site for downloading it). Then, with the unit off, press and hold the left button and the scroll wheel and turn the unit on by pressing the right button.
You'll lose all your settings, and you'll need to leave the unit in an open area for up to 45 minutes to get a satellite fix. _________________ Anita
