Hi I have just download the latest pocketGPS camera database to my G0700
can anyone tell me how I get them to show up and manage them. I am using the 6.6 maps and 6.520 software and with this version there does not appear to be any way to change the alert sounds for cameras or manage the database. can anyone help. I'm using a Mac with TomTom Home 1.5 |

Not so.. That's just with TomTom's OWN camera database.
The PGPSW one uses the normal POI system so can have any alert sounds or voices you want, and at any distance (within reason!) |

Hi
Thanks for the info. I have downloaded and copied the .Ov2 files into the Western Europe map folder but, when I go to manage POI's they don't appear in the POI List? This seemed to work with the earlier release of the software when you could also manage the Tom Tom camera files but now they are not managable? I can't set different warnings or alter the distances etc.
any help would be appreciated |

hello again. just answered my own post. I had downloaded the TomTom Home version of the camera files. I have now downloaded the ov2 set and this works..... However can anyone tell me where the favorites file is kept ? and what it is called. I recently updated the maps and all my favourites dissapeared ! and they went again when I managed the TomTom via the computer using TomTom Home ? |

MapSettings.cfg, in the map folder. Just copy it across from your backup into the new map folder. _________________ Dennis
