I have a ipaq 2210 with tom tom 5 installed and was thinking of backing it up with a Navman F 20 there is one on ebay without an maps but at the right price,I asked the guy if my tom tom 5 SD card would be compatible with the F 20 to save me buying a f20 map setup he said that he has heard that other maps on SD cards would work but could not g/tee that mine would,does anyone one know if my TT card would work with the F20..

You cannot put TomTom maps on a Navman unit and expect it to work, if the seller has lost the card ask him to get a replacement, to be honest I wouldn't even bother going there - its most probably either faulty or stolen -
E-Bay - if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is

Thanks Mike, I think I will pass on his one because if I have to buy the maps at £40 odd pounds it is no longer a bargain because I can buy a F20 new for £99 with free postage;
PS obviously not a EBay fan then Mike :P |

Software is a joke on that site though, more pirate copies than valid sales - just bear in mind if the seller is off loading cheap then it could be non-working or stolen (not all sellers are like this I hasten to add - but it is a good rule of thumb) - Mike |
