Should I buy a 910?

Hi,

Thinking of a 910, which is now around £350 - but it has been out for around a year - so is it worth it?

Are they simply reducing the price ready to introduce a new model? Are there any new models on the horizon - or is it still a good buy?

The last thing I wish to do is to purchase only to find a new model next week Laughing Out Loud

Obviously, I can't say for certain, but it is my opinion that, at least in the US, they are agressively dropping the prices to be more competitive with offerings from other companies.

They didn't bother dropping the price of the 300 or 700 until just recently, despite the fact that they stopped producing them almost a year ago, so I doubt the price drops have much to do with the models being phased out.

Additionally, I suspect TomTom would have shown upcoming models at the recent CES and CEBIT shows if they had any new offerings on the horizon. I say now is the perfect time to buy a 910; the prices have dropped about as much as I would expect them to, and it appears to be a very current product.

Just my $0.02.

Well, i just went a bought a 910 last week,, the price is so good now that I thought go for it..... the price difference betwewen the 5/7/9 is so small now that I went ahead and got the 910..... go for it....
