It all depends on how you were using the 'saved locations'.
Did you have them saved as Favourites?
Did you update your Map at the same time?
Which Version Map are you using at present?
Also have you done a Backup before upgrading?
As TT changed the system with the V6 Maps it will help us to know what you actually have on the Device.
If you are using Favourites then the File that holds the data is the .cfg File in the Map Folder. In V5 this changed it's name with the different Maps but in V6 it is now called MapSettings.cfg
Now you see why we need to know about your Device. _________________ Richard

In that case Favourites should be in the MapSetting.cfg File (in the Map Folder). You should not have lost this by just updating the software.
But if you have, just try copying the .cfg File from the Backup. _________________ Richard

On your old software the file was was called '{yourmapfoldername}.cfg', so you will need to find that one (it will be called something like 'Great_Britain-Map.cfg' (note the particular underscores and hyphens too!).
Copy it across from your backup and then re-name it to 'MapSettings.cfg'. |

Just a thought.
Why not make a POI out of your favourites - you can add phone numbers as well (not useful on the 300 - I know). The problem with favourites is that it only stores 20? locations - put an extra one in and the last in the list is lost. POIs can store 000's of locations. _________________ RQ
