How do I get my go 510 to show the speed limit for the road I'm on so the speed display shows 56/70 if im on a motorway rather than just 56mph |

If you have the speed displayed the device will show the speed limit where the data is present in the map, note not all roads have speed data, and of those that do some are wrong - Mike |

My 910 shows on the screen when I am over what it thinks the speed limit is, but it doesn't make any sound. As it is displaying can't I get it to say something as it is not very safe to drive constantly looking at the Tom tom screen. OK! I shouldn't be going over the limit, but it does happen and it would be very nice to be told about it with some sound or a spoken warning. _________________ Regards,

It's a good idea, but it's fallen on deaf ears at TomTom so far...
Many people have also asked for the dark red colour to be changed for something that stands out better, or for an option to switch the speed limit part of the display off again (as it is so often wrong). No joy on those suggestions either. |

But PLEASE do e-mail TomTom to suggest it. Your's just might be the one that spurs them into action! |

It actually turns the Map off and leaves you with a Blue Screen. You still get Voice Guidance and a Turn Graphic. Just no Map. _________________ Richard
