|
|
Hi, can anyone explain to me why on earth I am unable to attach/load a suitable MP3 audio file to a Custom POI file and have my i3 play the audio file instead of the proximity alert tones when I reach that point on my route?
Thanks in advance |

Can the i3 play mp3s? I thought the mp3 POI support needed a unit that could play mp3s...?
Have you tried 2.4.0.0 or 2.4.0.1 beta version of POI Loader, which both include support for WAV files for the POI alert.
Have you also specified the alert settings within POI Loader Manual Mode to turn on the distance based alerting in the first place (unless these are speed camera alerts)? Are they any settings within the i3 for turning on / off POI alerts (there are on other models) - this might need turning on. _________________ Please don't be offended if I do not reply to a PM - please ask questions via the forums. |

The i3 will not support the wav file method of audio alerts like the Nuvi products, I tried this a while back - it looks like you are stuck with beeps etc - Mike |

Or using the voice utilities to modify the appropriate section in the salient .vpm file... |
