I have just downloaded the latest version of Co Pilot 6 live onto my Fujitsu Siemens LOOX PDA haveing run the original version with the integrated database since last March. I have downloaded the camera database segmented by type, GATSO, MOBILE etc. What is the benefit of downloading the database segmented by speed? Does the verbal warning tell you the speed limit of the camera you are approaching? I know the database I have downloaded shows you the speed limit but without reading glasses, its hard to see....AGE IS A TERRIBLE THING!

Not quite sure I understand... If you have downloaded the version "Consolidated by type" it will show you what sort of camera or site it is, but it WON'T show you the speed limit on-screen, even with your glasses on! For a visual speed alert you need the "speed-zoned" version.

On the TomTom based PDAs and dedicated units, by adding on a set of matching audio files (several versions available ready-made from members here or it is very easy to make your own) it will also announce it with something like: "Warning, Gatso ahead, speed limit 30 miles per hour" or alternatively "Bing bong, Gatso - 30"
Unfortunately, I don't think the facility is available for co-pilot.
