I have lost the clastic card that came with my TT910. I beleive it had a number on it for accessing other services such as downloading updated maps and accessing the traffic updates.
Is this number stored on my TT910 itself, or do I need to conect Tom Tom to get a replacement? |

You will need to contact TomTom there phone number is 08451610009 you will probably have to provide proof of purchase as well by fax/ email etc.
To avoid future loss regester the numbers on the card at the TomTom web site, this way all your numbers are safe in a single place - Mike |

Just spoken to Tom Tom Helpdesk.
Apparently if you loose the card there is nothing Tom Tom can do about it. The card is for activating the maps, so if my Tom Tom ever asks me to enter this number the guy on the helpdesk says I will then not be able to use my Tom Tom any more. And there is nothing they can do about it!!!!!!
When I switched on my Tom Tom it did not ask me to enter this activation code. Is there likely to be any occasion in the future when I will need to enter this activation code? |

Did you Register the Product at TomTom? If so you can List your My Products there. You're Codes are stored there for future reference then.
You shouldn't have to re-activate the Maps again, because it's not like swapping SD Cards. If you have a Full Backup and need to Restore (because of a problem) this should not need an Activation.
But you would need your Product Code to be able to get a Map Update. _________________ Richard

No, you'll just have to pay full price for the new map. |
