Latest version software upgrade problems

I paid the $49.00 to upgrade tomtom maps for Canada and USA. I have a 700 unit. Before the upgrade my bluetooth worked fine with my blackberry 7250. Now since the upgrade when attempting a call it appears to work but instead of hearing ringing at the appropreate time I hear silence. When a call comes in the TT rings once you answer there is silence, however the phone never gets answered because the call goes to voice mail.
Now the Bluetooth is useless. I deleted both in the phone and TT the previous link and re established it. Says it was sucessful. But this provided the same results.
How do I fix this or who do I contact and how?

No one has any ideas? I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem.

If no-one has the same problem, why not try TomTom customer support?
I guess you are in America (dollar prices) so I logged into the US version of their website and found
