|
|
Hi,
I've had to try and restore from a backup after messing up on my 910. I've tried to retsore but there are some files missing, namely everything in the Loquendo TTL folder. Not sure what they do but I can't seem to create itineries and have also lost the text to speech function.
If anyone who owns a 910 I'd be really grateful if you could e-mail me the Loquendo TTL folder to see if it helps with the problems I'm having
steverew@hotmail.com
Many thanks
Steve |

The Loquendo Folder Files are to do with Text To Speech and should have no impact on Itineraries.
Did you do a Backup with HOME, or use Windows Explorer?
HOME has a problem in that it takes the Capitalisation of the Files Names out. To a Linux Device this causes problems.
Have a word with TT Support on 0845 1610009 explaining the problem. Have your receipt details and Device Code ready.;) _________________ Richard

Hi Guys, many thanks for the responses.
I'm a bit confused (and concerned) that one poster says that my request is illegal. If I've already bought & paid for the files, how can having them sent to me again be illegal? I'm not being awkward, just that being a newbie, I need some clarification.
Many thanks |

Many thanks | It would be illegal (in terms of the contract that they accepted by using the software) for someone else to give you a copy of their files. _________________ Jock

At 4GB for the folder it is not viable to e-mail anyway, if you have a back-up on the PC with the files/ folder incorrectly named I can send you a few screen shots of what the files should be named. I had the problem a while back when I installed a Home produced back-up, so I know how to fix the file names - this will only work IF you have a back-up though - Mike |

Phew, didn't realise the folder was so large at 4Gb. I think I'll have to get in touch with TT with receipt details etc and have them send me the files (probably on a DVD)
Thanks again for all your help |
