Hi there,
I have been playing with my PDA for couple of weeks now.I have installed couple of GPS softwares but my favorite is miomap 3.2.
I have 2 questions though;

1.The built-in GPS Receiver in HTC suppose to be SIRF but when I config the GPS in Mio, if I choose SIRF, mio doesn't recognize the GPS receiver. If I choose NMEA, 2 seconds later I am ready to go.Does anyone know why?

2.How can I upload Speed Camera database to Mio? I downloaded CSV file from various web sites and uploaded them to /miotc/poi but nothing happend.

Thanks for your time.
Bill

hi welcome to the forum give us a chance Laughing Wink

the gps receiver has Sirf 3 chipset that the receiver uses to receiver the gps signal.
most gps navigation programs usually run nema data, so I'd stick with that, as it may be that miomap 3.2 uses only nema data, as for speed cameras there is an mtc version for the all in one devices that MAY work. the other way to do this is using the gps splitter buillt in to wm05 you could use something like travel-I as a camera warner
hope this helps a little
